“”That’s America’s a**” Fans Go Wild as Sports Radio Host Gets Tattoo on His Butt After Losing Bet on Rangers’ World Series Win

During the MLB Playoffs, Chris Russo, infamously known as Mad Dog, is known for breaking several bets. However, there is one radio presenter who has the guts to go along with the bet he made concerning the MLB game.

The Texas Rangers defeated the Baltimore Orioles and subsequently advanced to the American League Championship Series. According to Awful Announcing, when their manager Bruce Bochy asked their catcher Austin Hedges, he said, “The only thing I need to know right now — Hedgie, what’s the number on your a** right now?”

The radio host of 97.1 The Freak’s Jeff Cavanaugh went on-air and responded, “If the Rangers win it all, I’ll get a tattoo with the number zero on my ass!” Cavanaugh’s brazen declaration to get a tattoo on his buttocks if the Texas Rangers win the title was the next step while considering a bet.

However, Cavanaugh found himself getting compelled after the Rangers were victorious and recently won their first World Series title in team history. He could’ve also followed behind Russo, who recently failed to live up to his bet of retiring if the Arizona Diamondbacks made it to the World Series.

Cavanaugh followed his words and got a tattoo on his left buttocks. He was live on air when he got the deed done, as the tattoo artist was sitting in the studio.

97.1 The Freak mentioned this in the post on Platform X, formerly Twitter, “ICYMI: The tattoo heard around the metroplex!

Cavanaugh nevertheless settled the significant wager with the tattoo as other people have followed much worse bets as well. As per Awful Announcing, the deal was settled on Monday during “The Speakeasy” hosted by bet settler Cavanaugh, Michael Gruber, Julie Dobbs, and Mike Rhyner, a famed Dallas sports radio host.

Before getting the Rangers Tattoo, Cavanaugh expressed, “I’m a man of my word, so we’re gonna tat up my butt”. The radio host courageously got the tattoo with the lasting memento of the Texas Rangers win.

However, fans couldn’t contain their excitement and flooded social media with their opinions, leading to some uproarious fan responses.
