A recent trend of either the Cowboys or Chiefs dominating the viewership numbers in the current season.
The Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs are generating the highest TV viewership in half of the season, they entered the AFL as the Dallas Texans.
As reported, the recent Cowboys game at the Eagles, accounted for more than 27.1 million viewers and had the biggest or second-biggest audience in six of nine weeks of the season.
On Sunday, AMERICA'S GAME OF THE WEEK flew to the most-watched NFL telecast of the season on any network.

Joey Hayden of the Dallas Morning News, The Cowboys have been the No. 1 or No. 2 “most popular game of the week” in six of the nine weeks.
While K.C., Blair Kerkhoff reported the Chiefs have been involved in the highest-rated game for four of the first nine weeks since the NFL season started.
These are the Thursday night season-opener on NBC against the Lions; the Week 3 game on Fox against the Bears; the Week 4 “SNF” game against the Jets and the Week 7.
Cowboys matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles in the Week 9 NFC East showdown, with a number of views matching the Super Bowl LVII.
According to FOX Sports public relations, it was America’s Game of the Week and drew in a total of 27,136,000 viewers, making it the most-watched game of the 2023 season.
FOX also added that the Eagles victory was the most-watched telecast of any kind on any network since Philadelphia lost 38–35 in Super Bowl LVII back in February.
Some big games are coming up for the Cowboys, a Thanksgiving game against the Commanders, against the Seahawks, against the Eagles, and Week 17.
