On the latest episode of his New Heights Podcast, Philadelphia Eagles’ center Jason Kelce left fans wide-eyed as he recounted a harrowing incident during a family trip to Maui in 2016.
Apparently, a beachgoer’s ominous shout of “shark” turned a romantic paddleboarding excursion into a troubling experience for Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie.
Next, like a man possessed, Jason sprinted for safety, leaving his wife behind in the open water.
Jason confessed:
“This motherf***er just yelled ‘Shark!’ I am headed inland! Kylie is like, ‘Where are you going, J?’ I didn’t even say a word. I just kept going straight. I was in full panic mode.”
The revelation prompted an incredulous response from Jason’s brother, Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce, who couldn’t believe his ears.
Travis emphatically exclaimed:
“Shut the f**k up. There’s no way. You couldn’t even echo the call?”
After the trip, Jason and Kylie jetted off to Honolulu for the NFL Pro Bowl.
Well, Jason Kelce and Kylie McDevitt Kelce have since built a life together.

The couple tied the knot on April 14, 2018, at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia.
