The wheels are falling off the Titans bus and there is panic as to how to stop the looming disaster.
The Tennessee team picked up back-to-back losses with a dreadful 20-6 loss to the Buccaneers, after week 9’s loss to the Steelers.
The team now has four losses in their last five games and struggled offensively and defensively in what could be their worst game of the season.
Defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons held no punches talking to the team’s official website.
“I’m tired of losing,” Simmons said.
“We need to start finding a way to win the game. We need to make more plays on defense, and put the offense in good position.
“And, at the end of the day, we have to score more points. We have to score points, and we have to get off the field — that’s pretty much what it is. They had 20 points, and we had six. We didn’t do enough to win the game,” he added.
The Titans are bottom of the AFC South with a 3-6 record and will rue their recent form after a bright start to the campaign.
The Titans will have an opportunity to get back on the winning trail when they take on divisional rivals the Jaguars in week 11.
The game against Jacksonville could be their last chance to get into an unlikely playoff spot.
