The No. 2 Michigan Wolverines have recently beaten the Penn State Nittany Lions with a 15-24 score and remain unbeaten in the season.
The squad is now directed by their interim coach, Sherrone Moore, and they have achieved this incredible feat without their official head coach, Jim Harbaugh, who has been suspended by the Big Ten due to the sign-stealing controversy.
Recently, after the win, Moore was emotional and dedicated the victory to suspended coach Harbaugh, the team, and the University. He was highly sentimental regarding the win. Moore, before handling this position, was also the squad’s offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.
According to AP News, Michigan declared that Jim Harbaugh would not be attending the game and the news came a short time before the game was supposed to commence. The University lawsuit hearing regarding Big Ten’s penalty is set to be on November 17th.
Michigan also shared, “We look forward to presenting our case next week where we intend to demonstrate that the Big Ten has not acted legally or fairly,”
According to Front Office Sports, it was on Friday that Michigan University issued a “temporary restraining order” to occlude the suspension of Harbaugh from the Big Ten. However, a judge refused to issue an “emergency decision”.
Trevor Keegan, their offensive lineman, had expressed, “Obviously, everything that happened yesterday, we just want to use that as fuel and motivation,”
“We got a very hungry team, a lot of leaders and guys that just want to prove the haters wrong. They’re going to be hating on us and we just want to prove them wrong. We wanted to do this for Coach Harbaugh.”
Warde Manuel, Michigan University’s athletic director, regarding Harbaugh’s ban, also shared, “an assault on the rights of everyone (especially in the Big Ten) to be judged by a fair and complete investigation.”
“Not liking someone or another university or believing without any evidence that they knew or saying someone should have known without an investigation is not grounds to remove someone from their position before the NCAA process has reached a conclusion through a full NCAA investigative process,”
Michigan remains unbeaten after knocking off Penn State on Saturday — and they did it without Jim Harbaugh, whose suspension came hours before kickoff.
A hearing has been set for this Friday, when a judge will explore the school’s efforts to reinstate their head coach.

In the next game, the Michigan Wolverines will be taking on the Maryland Terrapins. However, with time, more clarity will be shed on whether Harbaugh will be back or not.
