The Seattle Seahawks advanced to 6-3 after their 29-26 victory over the Washington Commanders in Week 10. After the game, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll was singing praises about his quarterback, Geno Smith, and his "almost perfect" performance during the latter stages of the team’s victory.

"I thought he [Smith] was almost perfect, all but maybe once perfect," Carroll said during his postgame press conference regarding Smith’s late-game heroics. "The throws he had to come up with, the calls, the poise, the cadence, running the club, the whole thing. He was perfect," Carroll added.

During the fourth quarter, Smith was nearly perfect, completing 11 of his 15 pass attempts for 113 yards and a touchdown. With the game tied at 26 and just 52 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Smith led a 50-yard drive down the field that led to Seahawks kicker Jason Myers hitting a game-winning 43-yard field goal as time expired.

Smith was dialed in for much of the game but took his game to new heights when the stakes were highest, consistently finding wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett for chunk gains. Both Metcalf and Lockett had at least seven receptions and 92 receiving yards.

Week 10 was arguably Smith’s best performance of the season. He threw for 369 yards and two touchdowns without recording a turnover. This marked Smith’s first game since Week 4 without a turnover.

Now, Carroll, Smith, and the Seahawks hope the team can carry this momentum moving forward when they travel to Los Angeles to face the Rams in Week 11.
