Minnesota Vikings safety Cam Bynum received some off-field victory to complement the team’s on-field success.
Nineteen days after he used a post-game interview to shine a light on his personal struggle, the good news came through – Cam Bynum’s wife has finally secured her VISA to join him in the United States.
In October 2023, the emotional revelation by Bynum during the interview shed light on his newly wed wife’s difficulties navigating visa complications.
Taking to Twitter to reiterate his plea, Bynum’s appeal resonated with fans and garnered widespread support across social media.
Anyone have connections the US immigration office for my wife? She’s in the Philippines and not able to come to the US until her I-130 spousal visa is granted. We’re going on 2 football season of no games for her. We’ve been denied a tourist visa twice so far

However, the euphoric moment arrived on Monday when Cam Bynum’s wife landed in Minnesota.
Bynum kept the news under wraps to keep it as a surprise for his teammates just ahead of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
“We kept in on the low,” Bynum said. “We kept her hiding all week, and today was the big reveal.”

The Vikings’ safety, who exchanged vows with Lalaine Haddad in the Philippines in March 2023, orchestrated a memorable reunion, as the team clocked their fifth consecutive win against the Saints (27-19).
The Vikings drafted Cam Bynum in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
