This decision comes less than 24 hours after the Bills suffered an upset loss at home to the Denver Broncos on “Monday Night Football.”
The Bills, with a record of 5-5, have been struggling to find offensive consistency throughout the season.
Since being elevated to the position of offensive coordinator in 2022, Ken Dorsey has faced challenges in finding offensive consistency and effectiveness for the Buffalo Bills.
The team has not scored more than 25 points in a game since Week 4, and turnovers have plagued the offense, with Josh Allen leading the NFL with 13 turnovers and 11 interceptions.
Before Dorsey’s tenure as offensive coordinator, Josh Allen had Brian Daboll as his offensive coordinator for four seasons.
During that time, Allen developed a strong rapport with Daboll, and the offense thrived.
Joe Brady, who will serve as the Bills’ interim offensive coordinator, brings previous experience in the same role with the Carolina Panthers from 2020 to 2021.
Although his time with the Panthers ended in his dismissal during the 2021 season under Matt Rhule, Brady is known for his innovative offensive schemes and ability to maximize the talents of his players.
