“He’s a cheater” – Ex-Bills head coach’s wife unleashes scathing critique on Bill Belichick over Patriots’ downward spiral

In the wake of the New England Patriots’ dismal performance, including a lackluster 10-6 defeat to the Colts in Germany, the once-mighty franchise finds itself languishing at 2-8, holding the unenviable title of AFC’s cellar dweller.

Adding fuel to the fire, Fran Levy, the outspoken wife of ex-Buffalo Bills’ iconic head coach Marv Levy, has taken aim at Patriots’ Bill Belichick

“I think he should retire,” declared Fran Levy when questioned about Belichick’s status.

She didn’t mince words, continuing:

“I can’t stand him. He’s a cheater, and he was rude to Marv. Bill Belichick was always jealous of Marv. He’s a mean person, and I hope he never wins again.”

Despite Fran’s fiery take, Marv Levy, at the spry age of 98, maintained his characteristic diplomacy, politely disagreeing with his wife’s assessment.

In a lighter vein, he quipped:

“I’m going to have Fran run some extra wind sprints for saying that!”

Fran Levy didn’t shy away from expressing her emotions, emphasizing “I wear my heart on my sleeve,” especially when it comes to her husband’s legacy.

It’s worth noting that Bill Belichick boasts an unparalleled 49-year coaching career in the NFL, the lengthiest tenure among active head coaches.

His resume includes steering the Patriots to six Super Bowl titles, a record for an NFL head coach.

Furthermore, he stands alone in NFL history as the only head coach to clinch three Super Bowls in a mere four seasons.

On the other hand, Marv Levy served as a head coach for a span of 17 seasons, overseeing teams such as the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and Montreal Alouettes.

His coaching tenure with the Bills lasted from 1986 to 1997, and his contributions led to his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Since February 1993, he has been married to Fran Levy, following a previous marriage to Dorothy Prout.

Fran and Marv have a daughter, Kim.
