Football analyst for ESPN Robert Griffin III believes the Bills should take a chance on hiring his broadcasting colleague Dan Orlovsky as the team’s new offensive coordinator.
This after Buffalo fired OC Ken Dorsey in the wake of the team’s sensational 22-24 defeat to the Broncos.
“He believes he can fix your offense and your QB’s turnover issues. Why not give it a shot?” postulated Griffin on his X page.
Orlovsky is well known for his video analysis in the broadcast booth but that is a far way off being an offensive coordinator for an NFL team.
Orlovsky was downplaying the talk saying, “It’s certainly something that’s on my mind. My kids are too young,” he said.
“You guys know what that job is like. But I love what I do now”.
Griffin famously tried to use his podcast platform to audition for the Jets quarterback position after Aaron Rodgers went down in the first game of the season.
