The New England Patriots are in question regarding their current NFL season, as it has not been up to the team’s mark. The Patriots squad had lost their game against the Indianapolis Colts as well. The game was played in Frankfurt, Germany.
The Patriots have also waived their cornerback, Jack Jones, and now he is with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Patriots are in the middle of a disheartening season and currently stand at 2-8.
However, amidst all this, there has been positive news coming in for the Patriots as their wide receiver, Kendrick Bourne, has had a successful ACL surgery.
The wide receiver, Bourne, was injured in the Week 8 game, which was against the Miami Dolphins, and the Patriots squad lost that game. Unfortunately, the injury ended his 2023 NFL season.

According to Tom Pelissero, “#Patriots WR Kendrick Bourne had successful surgery Wednesday on his ACL performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache. Bourne is currently doing rehab in L.A. with a variety of NFL veterans.”
Before the ACL injury shot down his current NFL season, Bourne was the top-notch wide receiver for the New England Patriots, and his stats were four touchdowns in 406 yards.
The struggle of the Patriots can be seen as their talented wide receiver suffered a season-ending surgery. Bourne has had his surgery, which was a success and now the cornerback is recovering in Los Angeles.
The news has brought relief to the fans of Bourne and the New England Patriots. However, Bourne’s contract with the Patriots will conclude as soon as this ends.
The clarity isn’t there currently as to whether the wide receiver will play for the Patriots in the next season or not. It cannot be said that as his contract expires, the Patriots will re-sign him or he will go to some other team.
