The most eagerly anticipated NFL clash of the season is set to tale place on Monday Night Football, with the Chiefs taking on the Eagles.
Not only will the Kansas City team be fighting to show their mettle against the best team in the league but it will be a Kelce showdown.
The Eagles have been in sensational form, going 8-1 heading into the game while the Chiefs are 7-2.
Travis Kelce, the two-time winning tight end, will line up against his big brother, and with the gravitas of the occasion you can bet Taylor Swift will be there to cheer her on man.
Eagles centre Jason Kelce is not motivated by sibling rivalry, just a desire to beat the Chiefs. Well, and a bit of Brotherly Love will go a long way. Cue the tush push jokes.
“I’m motivated to win the game,” Kelce told Tim McManus of ESPN.com.
“I don’t need the Super Bowl to motivate me to beat my brother or Andy Reid.
“I’ve never beaten them in my career. I’m more motivated maybe by that. I don’t buy into Super Bowl revenge games.”
The elder sibling was signed 191st in the 2011 draft but has gone on to become legend of the game.
Travis was the 63rd pick of the 2013 draft and both players will be out to cement their status as Superbowl contenders this campaign.
“Each season is different. This team is not the same, that team is not the same. Nothing that happens on Monday night is going to at all change or make anything different about what happened last year,” continued Kelce senior.
Will the younger two-time Superbowl champion and provable Hall of Famer tight end Travis prevails or will the Eagles continue to dominate all in their path?
I ‘Kelcee’ your hand raise you double.
