ESPN and its significant accounts halted notifications on Platform X in response to Musk’s contentious theory

The owner of Space X and Platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Elon Musk, has been surrounded by theories many times. However, once again, he has become the subject of attention, or rather, his support.

According to Awful Announcing, due to Musk siding with some theories, he and Platform X have garnered scrutiny. The major corporations that have paused their “ad spending” on Platform X are Apple, IBM, Amazon, NBCUniversal, and the parent company of ESPN, Disney.

By Saturday, Disney and its subsidiary organizations had completely paused their posts on Platform X. There was no activity on the social media accounts of any of them. The advertisement had stopped as well.

Awful Announcing further reports that the major accounts such as College GameDay, ESPN CFB, and the main ESPN account have not tweeted. The main ESPN account is followed by 48.8 million, ESPN CFB has 3 million and College GameDay has 2.9 million.

Other associated accounts with ESPN have kept their shush as well. The accounts such as ESPN’s NFL account is followed by 4.3 million, and SportsCenter has 42.3 million.

However, the pause has attracted much attention, and it can be due to many reasons, including the latest controversy surrounding Musk.
