The Cleveland Browns recently defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers and the concluding score was 13-10. However, the tight end for the Browns, David Njoku, was not satisfied with his performance.
In the game, Njoku mishandled many passes, and in one of the post-game interviews, he acknowledged how his teammates handled the game and that his performance was below par. He gave kudos for the victory to his teammates for pulling the game off despite him not playing well.
According to Pro Football Talk, via Cleveland.com, the tight end shared, “Even though what I displayed was unacceptable, my teammates, the receivers, the running backs, everybody, they’re trying to pick each other up, myself included, and just find a way to get the job done,”

Dorian Thompson-Robinson, the quarterback of the Browns, threw Njoku fifteen passes; however, the tight end was able to catch only seven of them for 56 yards. Njoku had the most passes given among the Browns.
Njoku further shared, “That’s unacceptable,”
“And luckily my teammates picked up the slack and we had a victory, but it’s back to work from here on out.”
Njoku had seen his transformation and had become one of the best tight ends in the NFL. Nevertheless, he had a groggy game against the Steelers and will be able to bounce back from this blip.
