Former NBA player Joe Smith was thrust into the spotlight after the revelation that his wife, Kisha Chavis, had an OnlyFans account.

Speaking with TMZ, Chavis didn’t shy away from the controversial move, admitting that she created the OnlyFans account during a challenging financial period exacerbated by the pandemic. She also expressed remorse for any distress caused to Smith, emphasizing that her decision was born out of necessity rather than selfishness.

Now, the couple appeared on Kevin Wesley’s YouTube channel, The Truth Factory to address the chaotic situation in their marital life.

During a conversation with Kevin Wesley, Chavis acknowledged her missteps, pledging not to make such decisions without consulting Smith in the future.

“I will talk to you next time before I do anything drastic. I apologize for not doing it this time, but I will do it next time,” Chavis stated during the conversation.

Chavis also expressed the need for Smith to return home to strategize and work together.

“People want to talk to him, and I can’t get him. People want to see what he has to say, and I just think he needs to come home so we can strategize and work together and make this the best that he could possibly be,” Chavis pleaded.

The situation took a heated turn when Chavis took a dig at Joe Smith by mentioning NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and his business involvement with Papa John’s Pizza.

“Shaq, can he get a Papa John’s?” Chavis exclaimed.

Disappointed with what he heard, Smith walked out of the set mid-interview.

Joe Smith has been married to Kisha Chavis for 13 years!

Previously, Chavis, in an exclusive interview, candidly shared that the recent OnlyFans controversy is just the latest hurdle in their marriage.

According to her, their relationship has weathered storms involving infidelity, mental health struggles, and financial mismanagement. Despite these trials, Chavis remains optimistic about the future of their marriage.

You know, if that’s what it has to be, that’s what it has to be,” Chavis remarked. “But, I don’t think we’ll have a divorce, I don’t think so. I think he’ll come around.”

Joe Smith secured the coveted number-one pick in the 1995 NBA Draft.

For a span of 16 seasons, he played across 12 different teams.

Among these were the Golden State Warriors from 1995 to 1998, the Minnesota Timberwolves from 1999 to 2001, the Detroit Pistons in 2000-2001, and the Milwaukee Bucks from 2003 to 2006.

Over the course of his NBA career, Smith accumulated impressive statistics, averaging 10.9 points and 6.4 rebounds in 1030 regular-season games.
