“You always have to deal with locker room issues.” LSU coach Kim Mulley after star All-American women’s basketballer Angel Reese misses another game

The biggest story in college basketball is the absence of All American Angel Reese from the Louisiana Tigers team that defeated Southeastern Louisiana over the weekend.

She then missed her second straight game, when she did not kit up for the team’s 106-47 win over Texas Southern on Monday.

Reese was controversially benched after Colorado shocked the number one ranked LSU team in their season opener.

Tigers coach Kim Mulkey was cagey about the star’s absence saying, “You always have to deal with locker room issues. That’s just part of coaching.”

LSU lost to 20th ranked Colorado Buffaloes.

“Sometimes you want to know more than you’re entitled to know. I’m going to protect my players. Always. They’re more important…it’s like a family,” she added.

“If you do some disciplining of your own children, do you think we’re entitled to know that? That’s a family in that locker room.”

What is really going on? Is it a player power move, are Reese’s grades bad, is she off form? Or is she just disruptive, as is claimed?

Well, the HC is not saying so let’s see how it plays out this week.
