Amid NCAA Scrutiny, NFL Teams Show Confidence in Jim Harbaugh’s Coaching Prospects

The suspended head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, Jim Harbaugh, now waits for his team’s results, as they will face Ohio State in their next match. His hopes are high for his squad, as they have led the season impressively.

Both teams, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines, are having an incredible season and stand at 11-0. Before directing the Wolverines squad, Harbaugh had tried the NFL as well.

Harbaugh is currently serving a three-game suspension ban as he was a part of the sign-stealing controversy and is under NCAA investigation regarding the matter.

Nevertheless, Harbaugh’s NFL prospects are also garnering much attention, even in the middle of the investigation. His future prospects will or will not be affected by Michigan unlawfully acquiring and using signals, as cannot be clearly said. However, recently, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the NFL has been thinking differently.

According to Yahoo Sports, Glazer shares, “When this whole thing happened with Jim Harbaugh, all the teams I talked to when I asked ‘is this going to impact him if he decides to go and come to the NFL,’ at first, teams said ‘you know, we really want to start hearing more about this investigation,’ but as the last couple of weeks have gone, that has just completely changed. All the teams I’ve talked to have said ‘you know what, regardless of what we hear in that investigation, that is not going to effect the way we look at Jim Harbaugh if he wants to come back and coach in the NFL.’ They’ve kind of moved on from this,”

Harbaugh had achieved great success with his university and had an 85-25 record that spanned nine seasons.

Last year, the Wolverines lost to TCU and it was their semi-final; nevertheless, Harbaugh’s accomplishments with the squad have been prominent. For the last two seasons, he has led the Michigan Wolverines to the playoffs as well.
