“Three guys that are basically coach killers” Coach Kirk Ferentz Points Finger at ESPN Analysts as “Coach Killers,” Cites Negativity Influence

The head coach of Iowa Hawkeyes, Kirk Ferentz, has recently expressed his opinions, stating that in today’s time, coaches are under more pressure than before. The 67-year-old coach has asserted that it is due to the analysts at ESPN and their continuous coverage.

Ferentz also shared that the analysts today have become “coach killers” with their contestable viewpoints. According to Awful Announcing, the coach shared during weekly press conference, “It’s a little tougher,”

“With all the ESPN coverage and all that — in fact I was making a comment to a couple guys on the staff this morning, I was looking through there and saw three faces on that little thing on the left of your ESPN site where they’ve got the videos. Three guys that are basically coach killers or player killers that are just like — all they’re trying to do is just stir up controversy.

“So that’s kind of what’s out there now for people to take in. You wonder why there’s so much negativity.”

However, his comments were generally made or focused on someone, which can not be clearly stated, as he received mixed responses on Platform X, formerly Twitter. Some users deemed him correct, while others expressed it differently.

Kirk Ferentz has led the No. 20 Iowa Hawkeyes to victory and, as a result, has done an incredible job. The Hawkeyes are 9-2 this season and Ferentz has also made sure that his team has the best place in the Big Ten East and will compete in the Big Ten championship game.

The Hawkeyes will next face the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the match is scheduled to be played on November 24th. The Hawkeyes will definitely try to maintain their winning streak as they move ahead in the competition.
