The NBA is filled with so many popular players. Fadeaway World compiled a list of the most beloved NBA players on every team and while most of the names mentioned aren’t shocking, some were mind-boggling.
For the Atlanta Hawks, Dejounte Murray made the list over All-NBA point guard Trae Young, who led the team to an Eastern Conference Finals appearance just a few seasons ago. Not to mention, Murray is just in his second season with the Hawks while Young has spent five seasons as the face of the franchise.
Next, Charlotte Hornets guard Terry Rozier made the list over the former No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft LaMelo Ball. Ball won the NBA’s Rookie of the Year Award in 2020-21 has an All-Star appearance to his name, and is known for his flashy style of play. With that in mind, it is shocking to see him not be the Hornets’ most-loved player.
Then there are the usual suspects such as Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, and Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic cracking the list for each of their respective teams.
New York Knicks fans have quickly taken a liking to point guard Jalen Brunson, who they signed last offseason to a four-year, $104 million contract. Brunson led the Knicks to their first playoff series victory since 2013 and had the team just two games away from a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals.
The NBA has such a unique blend of legendary players and fresh young faces and it shows through this list. The league is in good hands now and in the future.
