The offensive tackle of the Buffalo Bills, Dion Dawkins, has been fined by the NFL and this marks his second fine of the season. He was penalized for unnecessary roughness in the game against the New York Jets.
Dawkins was fined $10,927 for his play in the fourth quarter. He and Jets defensive lineman Micheal Clemons had an altercation in the game, which led to another scuffle in the tunnels of the stadium.
However, no player was fined for their spat out in the tunnel and Dawkins also shared that the Jets are “disrespectful”.
New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner took one for unnecessary roughness and was fined $10,927. He was penalized for his actions in the third quarter when he acted against Buffalo Bills receiver Stefon Diggs.
The league also fined Jeremy Ruckert, the tight end of the Jets, as he initiated an illegal hit on Bills cornerback Dane Jackson. He lowered his helmet and then connected with Jackson.
The cornerback unfortunately sustained a concussion and will not be active in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
