It’s about us being together,”- Broncos QB Russell Wilson believes unity is the Broncos biggest strength as they win five on the trot

The Denver Broncos are stampeding ahead with a fifth straight win, defeating a strong Cleveland team 29-12.

The Browns are a tight defensive unit, but Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has hit a rich vein of form, unlocking defenses at will.

This is a far cry from earlier in the season where they went 1-6, and even last season where the team finished with a record of 5-12.

“We’re resilient,” Wilson said in his postgame press conference. “The best part about us is we’ve been resilient for all of these games. We’ve played some really great teams.

“Top-echelon teams, obviously, in the AFC. Kansas City, obviously, Buffalo on the road which is a tough environment. Cleveland has been great all year. It’s a great defense and everything else. I think the best thing about us, though, is it’s about us. It’s about us being together,” he concluded.

Wilson only threw for 134 yards ND one touchdown, but he made every yard count.

The former Seahawks stalwart was the 75th pick in 2012, chosen by Seattle, where he spent a decade honing his craft.

Denver, at 6-5, will take on the Texans who boast an identical win loss record.
