“The difference was night and day.” – Seahawks HC Pete Carroll believes QB Geno Smith is over his elbow knock and will be at his best against Cowboys

The Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll believes quarterback Geno Smith is tracking well for a much-improved performance.

Smith did not have the best if outings in the team’s 31-13 loss to the 49ers last Thursday and will be out to lay a marker when they take on the Cowboys this week.

Talking about Smith’s performance in training this week compared to his outing on TNF, he said, “The difference was night and day.

“He was out there running practice and putting on a show for us as he does every week throwing the football all over the place. He did that exactly. He was full go the whole time, and that was not the case.

Smith was carrying an elbow injury in the game against San Francisco throwing 18 from 27 and gaining 180 yards and conceding an interception.

“We don’t want to make a big deal about it, but it was pretty obvious it was a big difference.”

The loss saw the Seahawks move to 6-5, and with games against the 49ers in week 14 and the Eagles in week 15 they will he desperate to halt the Dallas team this Thursday night.
