The New England Patriots recently lost another game and this time their loss came at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers. The concluding score in the fourth quarter was 0-6.
The Patriots now stand in the season with a score of 2-10, whereas the Chargers stand with a score of 5-7. The Patriots led by Bill Belichick are having one of the most tumultuous NFL seasons, which has automatically raised questions about his tenure.
According to Pro Football Talk, there are concerns for the Patriots and whether Bill Belichick will be continuing with the team in the future or not. The head coach has also shared that he is looking forward to the next game.
Belichick was asked after the Patriots lost the game to the Los Angeles Chargers, “Do you want to stay here and keep coaching the Patriots?”
He said, “I’m looking forward to this week and playing the Steelers,”
He has been coaching the New England Patriots since 2000 and has won eight Super Bowl Championships in his long career. Belichick had also reached great heights with the Patriots when Tom Brady was with the squad.
He was also named AP NFL Coach of the Year three times, among other accolades. However, his present time with the Patriots cannot be said to be positive.
Only time will tell if Patriots owner Robert Kraft will want to continue with Bill Belichick as the head coach of the Patriots in the future or if he will go with someone else.
