“So, we have to coach better. Have to play better.” – Eagles HC Nick Sirianni on what happened to the team in 49ers shellacking

The Eagles have landed and with a bump. The Philadelphia Eagles plummeted back to earth with a crushing 42-19 loss to the 49ers.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni could not pull another second half rabbit out of the hat as the team went down to a fired-up San Francisco side.

The Eagles have trailed at the break in their last four matches, and have come back to win them all, but they doubt the 49ers in no giving mood.

“We didn’t coach good enough, didn’t play good enough,” Sirianni said. “Simple as that. And why do you not do that? Well, you have to give credit to them, too. That’s a really good football team.

“If you don’t come out and play your best game against the guys that they have and the coaches that they have, it’s going to look like that. So, we have to coach better. Have to play better. We have a lot to clean up,” the HC said.

The trailed 14-6 at half time before San Francisco pulled away inflicting only their second loss of the season.

The teams will probably meet in the off season and Sirianni a d company will want a fast start.

They next face a daunting game against the Cowboys and if they lose, they could concede top spot in the NFC.
