On December 1, the youngest son of boxing icon Chris Eubank, Joseph Eubank, 27, has been charged with two counts of rape in connection with a rape incident near Brighton Palace Pier.
The unsettling incident reportedly took place on the evening of July 16, 2022, in the vicinity of the seaside attraction in Sussex.
However, the accused, hailing from Hove, East Sussex, was taken into custody in December 2023 and subsequently charged with serious offenses.
As per reports, Joseph has been released on bail under strict conditions.
Joseph Eubank is set to make his first appearance before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on January 11, 2024.
Throughout the investigation, the victim has been provided support by specialist officers, as authorities diligently navigate the legal process.

The Eubank family has yet to release an official statement regarding the charges.
The case has garnered significant attention due to the prominence of Joseph’s father, Chris Eubank, who enjoyed a successful career in the sport.
Chris Eubank had a successful career spanning from 1985 to 1998.
Notable among his achievements is the possession of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) middleweight and super-middleweight titles, which he held from 1990 to 1995.
Throughout his career, Eubank secured a total of 19 major belts, defending the WBO middleweight and super-middleweight titles 14 times.
His reign as a world champion lasted for over five years.
