The Cowboys improved their chances of playoff spot with an exciting game 41-35 win over the Seahawks in week 13.
Quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 299 yards, going 29-41 and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb getting 12 receptions for 116 yards.
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy believes the 9-3 Dallas team could pip the Eagles to top the NFC East crown.
“I really do like the stretch that we’re getting ready to be on,” McCarthy told the team’s website. “When you look at the teams that we’re getting ready to line up against and, obviously, Philadelphia is all that matters right now — this is an excellent opportunity for us to play in playoff-type games without playoff consequences.
The Cowboys are playing the 10-2 Eagles in week 14 and a win could see them supplant the 49ers and Philadelphia from top spot.
“I think that serves us very well because December football is something I’ve personally always enjoyed, and I think it’s a great indication of where you are as a team and what you need to do to get into the playoffs, and to be ready for the playoffs. We’re looking forward to it,” he added.
The Cowboys are averaging 42 points a game in their last four outings and will look to extend their winning streak to five this weekend.
