Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is unfazed with statistics after his failed 44 yard touchdown against the Chargers in his team’s week 12 win.
The miss has seen Tucker drop into second place on the NFL highest percentage rankings ironically behind Falcons’ kicker Younghoe Koo.
Koo nailed two attempts against the Jets in a 13-8 win this weekend to take his average to 90.1 percent, just ahead of Tuckers’ 89.9%.
“In a given moment, when I’m on the field preparing to send a ball through the uprights, I can tell you that’s the last thing that I’m worried about,” Tucker told Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.
“That’s like the furthest thing from my mind.
“All I’m focused on is making that kick in that moment in time, for what it’s worth, gathering all the data that I need to, applying what I’ve learned over the years in that given moment to do my best to put the ball through the uprights.”
Tucker is more concerned with taking the 9-3 Ravens to the Superbowl.
