In prime time, Michigan State’s dominant victory over Iowa in the Big Ten Championship was the most-watched game during that time, but on the day, it was second only to Alabama-Georgia.
The game on Fox was watched by 10.02 million viewers, a slight decrease from Michigan’s win over Purdue last season.

As of midday, an average of 7.89 million viewers watched Texas’ victory over Oklahoma State in the Big 12 championship game on ABC.

The SEC Championship Game is an annual American football game that has crowned the Southeastern Conference season champion since 1992.
The championship game pits the SEC Eastern Division regular season champion against the West Division regular season champion.
Since 2007, the games have generally taken place on the first Saturday in December, and since 1994 they have been held in Atlanta, initially in the Georgia Dome and since 2017 in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
While ten members of the SEC played in this game, only six won: Florida, Georgia and Tennessee from the East Division and Alabama, Auburn and LSU from the West Division.
SMU-Tulane in the AAC Championship averaged 1.88 million viewers on ABC at the same time as the SEC Championship.
