“Wrist feels great” Bills’ TE Dawson Knox returns from IR feeling optimistic about rest of the season

The Buffalo Bills will next face the leaders of the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fortunately, for the Bills, their tight end, Dawson Knox, has returned from injury reserve, after he underwent surgery due to a wrist injury.

According to the Buffalo Bills, Knox shared after practice, "Got some great time to get the legs back ready. Wrist feels great – big shoutout to the strength staff and training staff here, just put in the hours, put in the extra time. But just thankful to be back with the team. Those weeks on IR can be long."

Before the practice session, Bills head coach Sean McDermott expressed that it is still not known whether the tight end will play in the game against the Chiefs or not. During the practice session, Knox was wearing a brace on his wrist.

While Knox was on injured reserve, he was replaced by rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid, who posted an average of over 56 yards per game, including two touchdowns.

As per Bills, his catch percentage is top-notch considering the tight ends currently. He also comes in the top four when considering the NFL.

Knox regarding Kincaid also shared, "It"s been so exciting just seeing him take his game to the next level, seeing him gain some confidence. I know that feeling as a rookie coming in, your head spinning, you"re just trying to line up in the right spot but we"ve been lining him up everywhere and he"s been catching everything he"s been thrown."

However, if Knox turns up for the Chiefs game, the squad will benefit from the addition. Josh Allen shares, "The challenges that he presents for [a] defense, he’s been extremely valuable not just in the pass game, but in the run game as well, and [defenses] have to take into account for that. We’re just going to play it by ear and the more that we can get them involved in the offense, the better we will be this year."
