Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is not only known for his stellar play on the field but also for his philanthropic actions off the field. In his latest partnership with Lead From Behind, an organization founded to fight against colon cancer, Prescott released an amazing public service announcement centered around “talking sh*t.”

The video is titled “Talking Sh*t with Dak Prescott,” where Prescott talks about the importance of getting screened for colon cancer if you are 45 years of age or older. Then, Prescott jokingly suggests putting a sticker of something you don’t like on the sample collection container if an individual is prescribed a home screening kit.

As the starting quarterback of “America’s Team,” Prescott faces a lot of scrutiny and trash talk, never having a chance to retaliate. Here, he makes a lighthearted and comedic gesture to acknowledge his haters while doing it for a good cause.

Initial reviews about the commercial have been a success. NFL fans around the world have taken a liking to the commercial, its comedic undertones, and its positive message. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport said it’s “maybe the best PSA” he’s ever seen.

Good for Prescott that he can embrace his haters and use them as a resource to create positive change. It takes a lot of mental fortitude to be able to withstand and overcome the constant duress Prescott faces from the fans and media.
