LeBron James sends love to son Bronny, after his first game in college

On Sunday, Bronny James, Son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James made his debut for the USC Trojans and his father is filled with pride.

Even though the USC ended in an 84-79 loss in overtime to Long Beach State, dropping the team’s record to 5-4. Bronny came off the bench to play for 17 minutes in Sunday’s game, and had scoring four points while also adding three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.

The major highlight was that It was Bronny comeback after suffering cardiac arrest in July this is why his minutes were also limited while he continues to work his way back. After the game, he also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be back on the court.

He came back less than five months for the University of Southern California Trojans, his father LeBron James, watching from the stands couldn’t help admire Bronny more.

LeBron wrote on his social media post,

“Can’t even tell y’all how EMOTIONAL today was for me! I’m literally drained and all I can say is. Bronny you’re simply INCREDIBLE!! Damn the wins and loses that will occur. You’ve already won the ultimate goal/championship and that’s LIFE!!! Proud of you kid and today you’ve given me more life! Thank you and I love you.”

Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest late July during a team workout. He was then taken to a hospital, where he spent three days in the ICU before being released after it was determined he has a congenital heart defect.

USC head coach Andy Enfield told reporters also commented on his return.

“It was exciting for everyone to see Bronny out there. I’m sure for his family it was most exciting of all.”
