ESPN recently released the SEC Conference 2024 football schedule. The schedule inculcates the games of its sixteen-member school teams. The date of the much-awaited match between Georgia and Alabama has also been given, which is September 28th.

According to Awful Announcing via ESPN release, Wednesday’s special “will disclose the competition dates for the 2024 season in primetime on ESPN and SEC Network.” The 120-minute show will be hosted by Laura Rutledge along with Tim Tebow, Joey Galloway, and Greg McElroy, the ESPN analysts for college football.

ESPN’s schedule release for the SEC is modelled after the NFL. The league is also noted for announcing major matches through its broadcast partners and the network has followed the league as well.
The network has the upper hand as it can announce the kickoff time in advance as per the Athletic. However, the network has not yet released the ACC football schedule and they have exclusive rights.
