As per ESPN Source, the Los Angeles Dodgers are to complete the signing of starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow in a megadeal with the Tampa Bay Rays.

The announcement of Glasnow’s signing came with a massive extension, only a week after the Dodgers signed a massive deal that acquired Shohei Ohtani.
The five-year, $135 million contract once finalized for the right-handed starter, the trade for outfielder Manuel Margot from Tampa Bay to the Dodgers will also be completed.
As the contingent on Glasnow signing an extension, right-handed starter Ryan Pepiot and outfield prospect Jonny Deluca will be sent to the Rays.
The deal window was opened on Thursday morning and the framework of a four deal and $110 million in new money onto the $25 million Glasnow was sealed for the 2024 season.
In other spectrums, a chunk of freed-up cash flow from Ohtani’s contract with the Dodgers that deferred $680 million of his $700 million guarantee can go to Galsnow.
Glasnow is also projected to have the option to trigger a $20 million onto the end of his contract, while the Dodgers have a $30 million team option that same year. He now joined Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman as Dodgers signed beyond 2025.

The trade is nearly official and the extension for Glasnow is almost done. Securing Glasnow is a major move for the Dodgers that vaults them into major contender status in the National League.
The 30-year-old Glasnow went 10-7 last season with a 3.53 ERA over 21 starts. Lifetime, he’s 30-27 with a 3.89 ERA.
