In their last four games, the Houston Texans were victorious in two of them. They were able to defeat both the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos; however, they faced defeat by the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Jets.
The Texans have ruled out their star quarterback, C.J. Stroud, the twice winner of Graham–George Offensive Player of the Year. He will not be there in the game against the Tennessee Titans due to a concussion he sustained.
According to Pro Football Talk, in place of rookie record-setter quarterback C.J. Stroud, there will be veteran Case Keenum. The veteran quarterback started his NFL career with the Texans and then went on to join different squads. Currently, he is once again with the Texans.
Stroud went down with a concussion in the game against the New York Jets. His passer rating and passing yards are among the top in the league. On the other hand, Keenum also has several NCAA records under him.
Before starting the game against the Titans, veteran Keenum had started 64 games. As per PFT, Keenum started fourteen games for the Minnesota Vikings. In 2019 and 2011, he was awarded the Sammy Baugh Trophy.
His illustrious touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs came to be known as the “Minneapolis Miracle”. In 2018, he was with the Denver Broncos and started sixteen games with the squad.
The Texans currently have a score of 7-6 and the Tennessee Titans have a score of 5-8. The Texans, however, will have another chance to secure their position in the game against the Titans.
