Fast forward to a recent game against the Packers, where Baker Mayfield emerged as the second quarterback to record a perfect passer rating at Lambeau Field.
Now playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mayfield played a crucial role in their 34-20 win, scoring 381 yards on 22 of 28 passing and bagging four touchdowns.
With such a performance, he contributed majorly to the highest ever score the Buccaneers posted at Lambeau Field, undoubtedly a historical milestone.
The Buccaneers’ win against the Packers not only solidified their top position in the NFC South but also marked Mayfield’s first perfect passer rating.
It was indeed a perfect comeback after losing a first-quarter fumble and bouncing back to lead the Bucs to four scoring drives in their next five possessions.
Mayfield hadn’t had the most fortunate past at Lambeau Field. In his previous visits with the Cleveland Browns in 2021 and the Los Angeles Rams in 2022, his performance was less than stellar, with five interceptions recorded.
