Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore believes quarterback Justin Fields is perfect the Chicago team and they do not need to draft a new line caller.
The Bears have Panthers first round pick and it looks like Carolina will finish bottom if the pile.
Whe questioned on a potential 2024 draft QB, Moore said, “somebody asked me that last week. I’m still like, where are you all seeing this?
“What makes him not the quarterback for the Chicago Bears right now?”
Some pundits and fans believe a new quarterback, like USC’s Caleb Williams or North Carolina’s Drake Maye could be better suited than Fields next season.
“I don’t think they’re better than Justin,” he added.
Despite losing to the Browns in week 15, the Bears have shown improvement, going 5-9 in a season that looked to end before it rushed the first third.
The Bears suffered a six-game losing streak despite beating the Bengals and the Lions in the first month.
