Baltimore Ravens have had an electrifying start to their postseason playoffs, securing the first AFC playoff berth.

The man behind the magic is the team’s quarterback – Lamar Jackson, who played a pivotal role when the Baltimore side defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

“We’re very excited about that,” head coach John Harbaugh said postgame in response to clinching. “That’s the first step. That’s our starting-point goal. And we’ll go from there.”

The game ended at an impressive 23-7 in favor of the Ravens, marking a historic win-and-in scenario for the team.

Sidelined by injuries for most parts of the 2021 and 2022 seasons, Jackson’s comeback has been nothing short of inspiring.

His performance in Week 15, where he led the team with 97 rushing yards and threw another 171 yards for a score, is noteworthy.

“I didn’t know we clinched the playoffs,” he said. “I’m just trying to win. I’m trying to get there. I’m trying to win a game at a time. But I’m grateful for it. I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

This is Jackson’s first appearance in a Week 15 game since the 202 season, more reason for the Baltimore fans to celebrate.

Currently on an exceptional winning streak, the Ravens are on a roll. They’ve bagged four successive wins, maintaining a steady lead in the AFC North and holding on the AFC’s top seed.

This run has boosted their position down the final stretch of the 2023 season. Jackson and Ravens, flaunting an impeccable 11-3 record, are indeed flying high.

The Jackson-led team seized the opportunity and sailed into their second successive playoffs berth. The Baltimore side has made it to the playoffs five times in the last six years.

Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh has been the team’s guiding light, leading them to their 11th playoff in his 16-year tenure.

Harbaugh’s effective leadership and strategies have been instrumental in architecting the team’s success.

With their assured playoff spot, Harbaugh’s Ravens are now preparing to tackle the big challenge. The team is vying for their first division crown since 2019.

Achieving this feat would also get them the conference’s top seed, which has not repeated since 2019.
