A G League player, Chance Comanche, who plays with the Stockton Kings, was recently arrested by FBI agents based on a felony charge. His arrest has come to light due to his connection to women who disappeared in Las Vegas.
According to ESPN via KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, Comanche was arrested and booked on charges of first-degree kidnapping in the Sacramento County Jail. The player is arrested without bail.
The victim is Marayna Rodgers, a Washington medical assistant who disappeared from the Las Vegas area on December 6th. The night before, the Stockton Kings played against the G League Ignite in nearby Henderson, Nevada.
Another person jailed in the same case is Sakari Harnden on a first-degree kidnapping charge in Clark County, Nevada. He is detained and the amount for his bail is $500,000.
According to ESPN via KLAS, the criminal complaint stated, “Harnden held or detained Rodgers against her will and without her consent for the purpose of killing her and/or inflicting bodily harm.”
Comanche has been released by the Stockton Kings following his arrest. He will present himself in court on Tuesday.
