The NBA All-Star of 2023, Lauri Markkanen of the Utah Jazz, has been involved in the trade talks. According to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, the expectations of the Jazz have come forward.
The asking price for Lauri Markkanen could be around ‘five-ish picks,’ per @KevinOConnorNBA
“My impression from talking to teams is that it’s something resembling the haul the Jazz received for Mitchell and Gobert: so, five-ish firsts and/or players of comparable value.”

According to Jake Fisher via The Ringer, the Jazz are asking for a big price and the trade might not move forward. The Jazz will also receive a large amount of compensation in draft picks if they go forward with trading one of their pivotal players.
However, some teams might not compensate with five major first-round picks for him. For the next season, Markkanen is under contract with the squad.
However, Utah could go with a rebuild if the trade is centred around Markkanen. If the trade goes forward with any team, the Jazz will certainly receive picks as a chance for the restitution of their lineup.
