The history of the Cleveland Browns is being rewritten by one man Kevin Stefanski. On the final Sunday of 2021, the Browns won their 9th game of the season, assuring another victorious chapter this year.
This marked a significant moment for Stefanski, who has now chalked up two winning seasons as head coach of the Browns. Stefanski’s successful coaching did not just start this year.
The journey began in 2020 when the Browns showcased their tenacity by going 11-5. This period marked the first winning season for Stefanski as the Browns’ head coach.

The Browns have not seen such consistency since the tenure of Marty Schottenheimer, who demonstrated pure command of the game with three consecutive winning seasons from 1986 through 1988.
However, his time with the Browns ended after the 1988 season. From the departure of Schottenheimer to the arrival of Stefanski.
The Browns’ coaching roster featured several names that failed to build a consistently winning team in Cleveland.
Bud Carson, Jim Shofner, Bill Belichick, Chris Palmer, Butch Davis, Terri Robiskie, Romeo Crennel, Eric Mangini, Pat Shurmur, Rob Chudzinski, Mike Pettine, Hue Jackson, Gregg Williams, and Freddie Kitchens had their turns driving the Browns’ wagon.
However, only Carson, Belichick, and Crennel managed to clock in one winning season. Stefanski achieved the second triumph in an extraordinary year when he juggled with four different starting quarterbacks, displaying sheer perseverance and tactical acumen.
With Stefanski creating impressive strides, he deserves applause and credit for what he has done for the Browns.
Being a team notoriously noted as the underdogs in the NFL, Stefanski is leading their journey back to respectability.
