The Detroit Lions matches will cost more for the spectators and the franchise has released an increase in most of their new ticket prices, which will be activated from next year onwards.
According to the Detroit Free Press, via a representative for the team, it has been revealed that there will be a 30% increase on average in ticket prices. However, some fans have also reported an increase of as much as 85%.
As per Pro Football Talk via Kyle Meinke of MLive.com, the average increase in the ticket price has been 36%. The demand for tickets for Lions games has increased and this season the tickets were already sold out for all their home games. The average audience coming for the Lions per game is an average of 65,081.
The Lions Chief Operating Officer, Mike Disner, informed the Free Press that the organisation has approximately 6,300 season ticket holders who are on the waitlist for 2024. Since then, over 9 thousand people have been added to the waiting list.
