The Colts are still in with a shout of making the playoffs with three rounds to go and one vested party will be watching more than a passing interest.
Indianapolis regular starting quarterback Anthony Richardson is back at training, albeit in a non-contact manner, after suffering a season-ending shoulder injury on 6 October against the Titans.
“I think I’m progressing way faster than everyone thought,” he told Mike Chappell of CBS 4 on Tuesday at Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
Richardson says he is a month away from passing a ball, and will be ready for preseason, unless the Colts reach the Superbowl of course.
His rookie season is essentially over though and the fourth overall pick from 2023 will be a franchise builder going forward.
He returned to the squad for mental reps in the classroom.
