“I’ve just got to be ready to present myself in the best version,” – Rams DC Raheem Morris on plans to return to HC role

Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris believes be is well suited to a head coach role in 2024.

Morris has twice been an NFL head coach spending three years at the Buccaneers going 17-31 before an interim stint at the Falcons where he went 4-7.

He moved to the Rams in 2020 and helped the team to a Superbowl, and feels he is ready for another go on the biggest stage of all.

“When those opportunities present themselves, I’ve just got to be ready to present myself in the best version,” Morris told Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times.

“But to say you’re preparing or doing anything that you would do differently other than trying to win the next football game, I’d be lying to you.”

Morris is set to hit the interview circuit and with the Raiders, Panthers and Chargers all making plays for head coaches you can be sure there will be suitors as the end of season blues take their toll on a host of teams not making the playoffs this time around.
