The former Iowa player is behind Jeremy Shockey of the New York Giants and Keith Jackson of the Philadelphia Eagles in the category of most catches recorded by a rookie.
In the other category of touchdown passes totaled by a rookie tight end, he comes in third behind Mike Ditka of the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski.
