Despite making valiant efforts to be fit to play, Titans rookie quarterback, Will Levis, is not expected to be available for the upcoming weekend showdown due to a high-ankle sprain, according to close sources.

Facing a tough bout against the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, the team will miss the services of their talented, yet injured, quarterback.

Levis suffered this high-ankle sprain injury in the Week 15 game, leading to a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Houston Texans.

The record of 19-16 certainly does not favor the Titans, and losing their first-choice QB is a massive blow.

“Titans QB Will Levis, dealing with a high-ankle sprain, is not expected to be able to play today, source said,” Rapoport tweeted. “He pushed to be on the field, practicing on Friday. But couldn’t quite get there. Ryan Tannehill will start.”

Being the No. 33 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Levis showcased his potential right from the onset.

His stats, an impressive 147 of 249 passes for 1,792 yards threw eight touchdowns and four interceptions in his short eight-game career.

Running and passing skills aside, Levis is also known for his agility, managing 25 carries for 57 yards and another score to his name.

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll praised Levis publicly, stating that Seattle held him in high regard during the drafting process.

“He’s really smart, really bright kid,” Carroll said. “Good command, confident, really impressive. He’s a very impressive guy. We thought that he was as good as prospect as anybody in the group there. … He’s so sharp and can handle it and put it in the right perspective. I don’t know that until you really get with him, but that’s what our impressions were. We really thought a lot of him.”

The absence of Will Levis for the Titans sees the Seattle Seahawks go into the game as the calculated favorites.

Both the Seahawks (7-7) and the Titans (5-9) are ready for a tough battle, but the Titans might be at a disadvantage without their first-choice quarterback.

Come 10 a.m PT, the nail-biting showdown will commence at the Nissan Stadium. The availability of their star quarterback could have been a game-changer for the Titans.
