Adam Thielen, the acclaimed wide receiver of the Minnesota Vikings, was recently found vocal about his new-found admiration for rookie quarterback Bryce Young.
He was all praise about Young’s exponentially improving performance in the ongoing NFL season.
Although the Panthers could not make it to the playoffs this season and will not have a first-round pick in the upcoming April draft, the improvements exhibited by Young made their dismal season somewhat bearable.
The team now has high hopes for the young quarterback, eagerly looking forward to seeing him achieve greater feats in the near future.
Undoubtedly, one of Young’s best performances came in the recent match against the Packers.
He managed to pile up a season-high 312 passing yards, commanding two noteworthy fourth-quarter touchdown drives.
These helped the Panthers fight back to tie the game 30-30. Despite the Panthers losing the clash due to a final-minute field goal from the Packers.
Heading back to Week 15, Bryce Young showcased his potential during the game against the Falcons.
Although being considered as a rookie in the squad, he managed to do a game-winning drive.
This performance, and the recent one against the Packers, drew a lot of attention towards Young which helped him gain much-needed confidence and recognition.
Adam Thielen could not help but share his admiration for the 19-year old quarterback for his consistent performance.
The wide receiver highlighted Young’s strong command on the game and complete control while playing, suggesting that it was a crucial stepping stone towards even better days ahead.
“Man, impressive,” Thielen said, via the team’s website. “Really the stuff that I saw and a lot of us saw in OTAs, training camp. Just that confidence, that kind of attitude. And then, you collectively make some plays for him, and watch out, he’s got the hot hand, as we say. So, obviously super impressive and excited to build on that.”

Further, DJ Chark, the fellow wideout of the Minnesota Vikings, also did not hold back when it came to praising Young.
He candidly expressed his belief that within three to five years Young would absolutely make it to the top, arguably being one of the elite quarterbacks in the league.
Given Young’s improving performances and his promising talents, it raises a question: Is he the next big player in the NFL?
While such predictions might appear to be hasty, it is hard to overlook the attention he’s gaining from his impressive performance.
