Michigan Wolverines’ Head Coach Jim Harbaugh Receives Staggering $125 Million Extension Amidst College Football Playoff Success

The head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, Jim Harbaugh, has reportedly received a $125 million extension deal. He has successfully guided the Wolverines to the College Football Playoff for the third time.

According to Pro Football Talk via NFL’s Ian Rapoport, the University has offered him a 10-year contract extension; however, the coach cannot join the NFL in the 2024 season.

Harbaugh now prepares the Wolverines for the College Football Playoff semifinal and is also under consideration for a pivotal decision. The Michigan Wolverines will be against Alabama at the Rose Bowl.

The head coach’s current deal will go through 2026 and if he goes forward with the new extension being offered to him, he will join the ranks of the highest-paid coaches in college football.

As per PFT, in earlier offseasons, Harbaugh was also involved in trying for NFL teams such as the Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Chargers.
