“The Grinch stole Christmas, mf” – Raiders DB Trevon Moehrig defiantly compares himself to infamous villain of December 25 following win against Chiefs

Raiders’ safety Trevon Moehrig seems to have captured the festive spirit after a victory against the Kansas City Chiefs!

Moehrig, who stands at 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 202 pounds, has been making an impact during his rookie season with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Raiders DB aims NSFW trash talk at Chiefs in locker room after Christmas Day win Las Vegas Raiders defensive back Trevon Moehrig had plenty to say after shutting down the Chiefs passing game in a Christmas win.

The Kansas City Chiefs surprisingly lost to the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday afternoon.

Given the game was between AFC West rivals, it’s not surprising that the Raiders had a lot to say after the fact, and this is the Raiders we are talking about, the lack of trash talk from the Vegas locker room is a bit shocking.

The Chiefs struggled in the passing game, with Mahomes throwing one pick-6 and nearly tossing another interception late in the contest.

One Raiders defensive back took his boasting to social media, making a Christmas reference in the process.

Tre’von Moehrig (born June 16, 1999) is an American football safety for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at TCU and was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Trevon Moehrig took to his Instagram live to talk trash.

The Raiders still have a lot of work to do if they are to make the playoffs, though, as they’re a game under .500 and several games back of the final AFC Wild Card spot.

The AFC West remains in play as well, but the Chiefs would have to lose out. If we’ve learned anything about the Chiefs, it doesn’t last long. Vegas further exposed the Chiefs receiving corps on Monday, as only Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce have established themselves as top-level targets for Mahomes.

“Emotional game,” Reid said. The Raiders secondary had the Chiefs in shambles, and rightly so.

Among the classic books written by Dr. Seuss is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, which tells the story of the eponymous Grinch, a mean and grumpy curmudgeon who tries as hard as he can to stop Christmas from occurring by stealing gifts from people in the town of Who-ville.

The Grinch eventually grows a heart – as big as it can be – and learns the value of Christmas and the community of Who-ville.

The New York Times wrote,

“The reader is swept along by the ebullient rhymes and the weirdly zany pictures until he is limp with relief when the Grinch reforms and, like the latter, mellow with good feelings.”

To this day, How the Grinch Stole Christmas is considered a holiday classic for children and adult readers alike.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas tells the story of the hateful and bitter Grinch, a Christmas-hating creature who lives in a cave on Mt. Crumpit above a small town called Who-ville.

While nobody knows why the Grinch detests Christmas so much, the narrator posits that it is because his heart is two sizes too small. By contrast, the Whos of Who-ville are kind-hearted creatures who absolutely love Christmas.

As the Grinch becomes more and more annoyed with the noise, he devises a plan to “steal” Christmas: he dresses up as Santa Claus and sneaks into the homes of the Whos, taking their presents, food, and even their Christmas trees.

Shocked by their joy despite not having any gifts, the Grinch realizes that Christmas is not about material possessions but about community, kindness, and love. His heart immediately grows three sizes, and he returns to Who-ville to deliver all the presents he stole.
