Despite missing the last three games Kenny Pickett of the Steelers could be in line for a start against the Seahawks this week.
Pickett returned to the practice squad last week and will battle it out with the impressive Martin Rudolph for a starting berth.
“It feels good,” Pickett told the team’s website.
“I am going to take it a day at a time, see what the coaches are saying, what the trainers are saying. They have a plan for me, I am just going about what they are telling me. It feels like I am on track with what I need to do. It’s not how I feel, it’s what they see me doing and how they feel like I am looking moving around.”
Rudolph starred in Pittsburgh’s 34-11 win over the Bengals in week 16 and could be in line for a successive start.
