“We’re going to take it a game at a time.” – Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is keeping it real as Baltimore look for number one seeding

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson said his team was stung by their underdog status heading into their week 16 victory over the 49ers.

Jackson, a front runner for MVP has been instrumental in helping Baltimore to a 12-3 record and a potential number one seeding.

"Keeping a level head is the most important thing for us right now, because now the narrative is changing," Jackson said.

"It was just, ‘This team is . . . The Ravens; we don’t know about the Ravens.’ Now it’s, ‘Oh, they’re the No. 1 team.’ So, we’re not paying [any] mind to that. I feel like that’s bait — that’s clickbait. And like I said, we’re trying to make it to February, so we’re going to take it a game at a time."

The Ravens take on the Miami Dolphins in week 17 and a win will go a long way in cementing their status as number one seeds and helping Jackson to his second MVP title.

In week 18 Baltimore take on Pittsburgh in what is likely to be a victory parade ahead of the playoffs.
